At Niedra Aviation our goal is to provide you with the best pilot training experience, while helping you to stay on budget.
FAA Instrument Rating requirements are specified in Federal Regulations and Instrument Rating Practical Test Standards.
Part of these requirements are 40 hours instrument/simulated instrument training. As private pilot you already have at least 3 hours of instrument training.
CFR 14 Part 61 specifies that 20 of required 40 hours can be flown in FAA approved simulator that qualifies as Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD).
Benefits of our AATD simulator:
Enhanced Operation Safety. System failures can be simulated on ground.
Reduced Cost. 20 hours in FAA approved simulator will save you $1,300
Flight Training efficiency. AATD training environment allows 5-6 different practice approaches each training hour vs. 2-3 approaches in an aircraft. In an actual flight environment approach variety usually is limited by the weather conditions and traffic flow.
Simulator have a PAUSE button to analyze errors and enhance training, while the actual aircraft doesn't have this luxury.
